Following recent storm damage at a property in Sydney Buildings, Bath, we had the opportunity to breathe new life into the garden. The storm sadly claimed an old pear tree, but this created a chance for a thoughtful redesign. As the new centrepiece, we planted a stunning Amelanchier lamarckii, a graceful tree that will offer multi-seasonal interest. To define the new planting areas and add a contemporary touch, we installed sleek corten steel edging. The beds are now filled with a vibrant, drought-tolerant mix of perennials, including beautiful echinaceas and airy verbena, creating a resilient and textured garden that is bursting with colour. This project successfully transformed a point of damage into a revitalised, beautiful, and sustainable outdoor space.
